Project Summary
Pawsome is a pet care brand that provides essential services for busy, new, and traveling pet owners. Created for dog and cat owners ages 25–40, this project explores branding, UX, and packaging, ensuring a well-rounded and engaging brand experience.
The Objective
Rebrand an existing platform dedicated to simplifying pet owners' day- to-day efforts in caring for their pets by connecting them with local caregivers who can cater to the specific needs of their four legged friends.
The Problem
Pet owners face the difficulty of ensuring their pets receive enough playtime and exercise due to time constraints in their day
Traveling owners needing someone to care for their pets while they are away
Pets that need special care from professionals
New pet owners seeking additional assistance in training their pets
Process
Research
During my research for the brand, I navigated through the app and identified user pain points and areas that can be improved.
Sketches
During the sketching phase, I explored different compositions, hierarchies, and scales to ensure each brand asset was visually engaging and aligned with the brand identity.
Drafts
My process started with rough sketches to outline the screen content. Then I followed up by developing them into low-fidelity black and white wireframes to refine the layout and usability.
Deliverables
Navigation Menu
Previously users had to sign up right away to use the app, often causing frustration. The rebrand offers a more friendly approach, letting users browse before deciding to create an account.
Onboarding
Booking a dog walk
Searching for a walker was made easier by shifting from swipe-through profiles to a simplified list view.
